Dedicated to the Memory of Roxie

This site is a tribute to Roxie, who was born in Manchester, in the UK on July 04, 2008.  She left us on February 24th and will always be remembered.

We had our baby girl for 13 ½ years in total, after she came to us as a tiny pup, who was so small, that she fit in our hands.

Roxie was originally a foster dog that we eventually kept as our own. And whilst we continued fostering, she helped the other dogs and puppies. So we called her The Rehabilitator

She had a very good nature considering she had a horrible start in life.

Not long after she was born, she had her tail cruelly cut off. If it was cut any shorter then she would have died.

She had such a character, as you can see in the video - She only really barked when someone was at the door, the window cleaner, or when she was talking to us lol - She really ruled the roost.

She was loved from the start, loved till the end, and will be forever.
But now, sadly, due to renal disease, she has left us to venture over the rainbow bridge, to join Jetson, Missy, Tigger, Pepsi, and Gizmo.  And hopefully, she will be waiting for us when it's our time.

Baby girl - Mum and Dad will always love and miss you Roxie xx

Roxie-Bella... Always Remembered. 😢🌈🕯️ The worst thing about losing your dog is not having someone to lick your tears away. By the edge of a wood, at the foot of a hill, Is a lush, green meadow where time stands still. Where the friends of man and woman do run, When their time on earth is over and done. For here, between this world and the next, Is a place where each beloved creature finds rest. On this golden land, they wait and they play, Till the Rainbow Bridge, they cross over one day. No more do they suffer, in pain or in sadness, For here they are whole, their lives filled with gladness. Their limbs are restored, their health renewed, Their bodies have healed, with strength imbued. They romp through the grass, without even a care, Until one day they start, and sniff at the air. All ears prick forward, eyes dart front and back, Then all of a sudden, one breaks from the pack. For just at that instant, their eyes have met; Together again, both person and pet. So they run to each other, these friends from long past, The time of their parting is over at last. The sadness they felt while they were apart, Has turned into joy once more in each heart. They embrace with a love that will last forever, And then, side-by-side, they cross over together. © 1998 Steve and Diane Bodofsky.
